Welcome to Yad
La'Shiryon - the armored corps memorial site and museum at Latrun.
On December 14, 1982, the cornerstone for Yad La'Shiryon was laid.
The site was created through the initiative of veteran commanders
of the armored corps in cooperation with the armored corps. This is
a story of initiative and persistence: Each stone has a story to tell
about the sacrifice and heroism of the fighters who fell before their
time, allowing us, the generation that followed in their footsteps,
to learn through their personal heroism about the values of sharing
and brotherhood, resourcefulness and immortality. Our comrades in
arms! |
